He beholds things in heaven and on earth from high above, and knows every matter that comes to us - even when it floods, the LORD still sits enthroned as the King. However, He is not a spectator, rather, He is the master of history. Whether the poor, the needy or the princes, they all bow down under His authority: He humbles people and He exalts people. God is willing to bless people in hardship, so let us be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God. By faith Sarah became pregnant and gave birth to Isaac when she was 90 years old, from which came God's chosen people the Israelites; Hannah poured out her soul to the LORD in prayer, and gave birth to Samuel, who was God's vessel to revive a generation of people; Mary submitted to God's word, and gave birth to Jesus, who is the center of the whole redemption plan of God! Praise God, there is not a single person whom God cannot save and use; praise God, there is not a single thing that God cannot accomplish. At whatever time and in whatever place, the name of the LORD is to be praised - let us praise God at all times and in all places! |
