| 1 你們死在過犯罪惡中，祂叫你們活過來。 2 那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。 3 我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。 4 然而， 神既有豐富的憐憫，因祂愛我們的大愛， 5 當我們死在過犯中的時候，便叫我們與基督一同活過來（你們得救是本乎恩）。 6 祂又叫我們與基督耶穌一同復活，一同坐在天上， 7 要將祂極豐富的恩典，就是祂在基督耶穌裏向我們所施的恩慈，顯明給後來的世代看。 8 你們得救是本乎恩，也因著信。這並不是出於自己，乃是 神所賜的； 9 也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。 10 我們原是祂的工作，在基督耶穌裏造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是 神所預備叫我們行的。 | 1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. |

| 大哉，神的愛和憐憫!當我們還死在過犯罪惡中的時候，祂便叫我們與基督一同活過來，不僅一同復活，且一同坐在天上，領受神極豐富的恩典，為後來的世代作明證！讚美神，因祂所賜白白的恩典，我們得以脫離黑暗權勢進入祂的光明國度；讚美神，因祂愛我們的大愛，叫我們這些本為可怒之子的，藉著基督耶穌成為神的兒女，成為聖潔公義之子；讚美神，因祂極深的智慧，在基督裏造我們成新人，呼召我們行祂美善的工！ | Great is the love and mercy of God. When we were dead in trespasses, He made us alive together with Christ. Not only raised us up together, but also made us sit together in the heavenly places, in order for us to receive the exceeding riches of His grace, to be shown in the ages to come! Praise God, because of His grace that He has freely given us, we were delivered from the power of darkness and conveyed into the kingdom of light; praise God, because of His great love of which He loved us, we, who were by nature children of wrath, have become children of God, children of holiness and righteousness through Christ Jesus; praise God, because of His exceedingly deep wisdom, He created us as new man in Christ, and called us to walk in His good works! |
